First of all you should not break any thing.Be constructive rather then destructive.
My idea of breaking routine is beer. Have 2-3-4-5-6 as many as you can until you feel fresh and refreshed. But there was a time actually when drinking was itself routine. So what we should done that time to break routine. i don't know, i have never tried. Even if today i could get back that routine, i would be so happy. But the point is that life moves and we can't go back we can't be that innocent foolish full of life again. May be i get to drink again that's not a big deal. But the main fun lied in the company of friends i used to have to have that back i think is impossible.
So better to break routine is never to fall in any routine at first place. Always look out for new things.

Who knows me best?
My best friend, father, mother sis naa. This question is actually much harder to answer.
Since, in life you share and spend time with lot of people its hard to tell who knows you best. Technically, you yourself live with you, so you must know best about yourself.
There are four aspects of our personality.
So sometimes we know ourselves better we have access to more information about ourselves.
Sometimes, others knows us better because standing outside they can take a full view of us, which we being a part of system under observation may never see. also, we might be prejudiced in our judgement

4. London, New york, Las Vegas or any other big city as i have watched in Hollywood movies.
5. Parties where there are kegs of beers, joints, girls and everyone going wild. Again inspired from a movie.

Self confidence may come in different situations to different people differently.
1. Person who does not have anything to lose may not fear and confidence naturally comes to him.

3. Person might have fake confidence due to excessive praise by relatives, friends or may be poor knowledge of his field.
So, check your confidence and also check your sources of confidence.

3 mistakes of my life
I don't know whether i even qualify to write a review. But since this is my blog this advantage i can have.
So, i can't understand how Chetan Bhagat is most read Indian English author. I couldn't find anything new in his third attempt. All of his 3 novels have same basic plot. It seems like he is still riding on his success of 5 Points Someone.
In all three novels there are 3 friends. Similar, love scenes of narrator. This, story is also of 3 boys based in Gujarat, their life and incidences are lifted from real life. Some incidences like earthquake of Bhuj,India Kolkatta Test win, Godhra massacre are pinned together in story.

Gambhir was judged LBW, not offering the short and Dravid missed a classical off-spinner.
After, tea things looked different Both Laxman and Sachin looked quite comfortable and in control before Monty caught Laxmon on its own bowling.Soon after, Flintoff was called and he strikes with his first delivery as Sachin played early to give a catch to bowler.
Now, all responsibility has come to Dhoni and Yuvraj.India was still trailing by somewhat 210 runs so hope for best.

Should you learn every thing you can
I am myself not sure whether should you or not.
There are two cases i can think:
1. When you have a goal.
You are committed to your goal. You single minded work in that direction. then you don't learn every thing that fall your way. To optimize your time and efforts you have to be selective and choose. Soon hopefully chances are that you will find your goal.
2. When you keep on learning whatever falls your way or whatever you can.
You don't have any goal, so overall you may become more informed and smart person.
Someday opportunity come knocking and might have success. Overall chances are that you will have a more broad outlook towards life.

CRIMINAL
I'd remember my teacher in CL(Career launcher) told us to make a list of positive and negative words, so if we can't remember the whole meaning of word we may still be able to make out what author is trying to say.
Naturally all of you must put the word CRIMINAL in under negative heading.
For me it's a kind of neutral word. I think like government decide funds for education in every years budget. Similarly, jail should be thought as an institution where people who are not comfortable in our society should be look after. Criminals are as important responsibility of government as children.
Prisons should not mean only to segregate criminal from society but should also have enough facilities and process to include these criminals in society again.
Though presently once in prison, our society is not flexible enough to embrace them back.
As a society we also owe every prisoner.
P.S : I had read autobiography of Kiran Bedi. It may not be in context of this post but i think lady has got some management aptitude.

This law was made to stop the suicidal threats people use to give to government.
But ain't it's against the very fundamental law of freedom. Every person should have at least this much authority over his own life.
A person committing suicide, taking such a bold step, is actually in a desperate way shouting for help. We as a society have not been able to make him feel comfortable. He deserved special attention.
Love for life is quite a natural phenomena, from the moment of our birth this love develops in everyone. When someone goes against it, i think it clearly means that he need help instead of punishment.
Like the way society should treat handicapped, senior citizen, mental patients specially. This people should be looked at with care.

Fourth estate
I don't know whether it's my sole,personal opinion or this really is the case.
The quality of Indian News Channel has degraded a lot. I find sometimes news more hilarious than informative. Now days they are showing clips of other television soaps and dedicating a full coverage to them.
Still this i don't think is harmful at all. What i am afraid of that these news agencies are now days shaping public opinion. With respect to freedom of speech and freedom of respect, i think news channels should show all news with a neutral angle. They have no right to picture someone as guilty,this is strictly duty of law.
What's happening is nowadays reporters are mixing to much of their personal opinions in news.
Every news reporter should be strictly rational while reporting something. though they may express their point of view in debates, separate articles and editorials.
Press it utilising its Right to Freedom but somehow in race of TRPs and commercialisation they are not fulfilling their duty of being fair.

For many years, i had enjoyed my holiday of 2nd October. But ideology of Gandhi has never strike me as it has in October of 2008.
At same time nowadays all Hindu epic, Ramayan, Mahabharat, krishna etc., are back on T.V(thanks to NDTV Imagine) and i was kind of forced to think that is Gandhi ideologies were superior that all taught us by are holy books.
Before pointing out few facts, i would like to state that this comparison might be quite unfair in itself.
Firstly, the whole Youdh(battle) of Ramayan was started when Laxman chop off Shurpnakha(Raven's sister) nose. Was it moral? Was it ethically right for brother of Maryada Purushotam Ram. Would this act be tolerable in Ram Rajya.
What Shurpnakha was accused of? Teasing Laxman, cause shupnakha find him attractive, cause fall for him, and beg him to love back. Even, if she was irritating enough that her act could qualify for a felony, who give Laxman authority to take such an aggressive action.
Remember Gandhiji preached Non-Violence.
Gender Equality: On this point i don't think i need to elaborate much. Ram out of sheer doubt, questioned holiness of Sita. On other hand, Gandhi always advocate equal social status for women.

Intensity of LOVE...
First of all today i am not in mood to write anything but still....secondly i don't really have any first hand experience of love, all of my opinions are based solely on my perception and interpretation of what i have heard from friends or read.

Sometimes it's just a second, which may change life of a person. And you never know how capable a person is, he might be very useful. Any army never leave its soldier behind, no matter how badly he is hurt. How can we leave any man behind in this crusade of human for life and answers.
No data is feed in our mind before birth(Blank mind theory though still not proved). Surely, our genes give us some qualities, some personality traits still whatever we our or whatever we come out to be is just a product of this society. Or you may say society has a great part to play in development of out mental power ,to discriminate good and bad, for discernment.
I don't think i am able to articulate my logic or my reasons against capital punishment well, may be some other day i will. Nevertheless i just have strong feeling against it.
P.S : Capital punishment is like a conspiracy of society(or a group) against an individual.

Happy...
Being happy is not your right it is your duty.
Since i had read today that how your happiness effects people around you, i think it may be true but i don't believe it.
The article put its point by citing the proverb: One bad apple can spoil the whole barrel.
I think it is rubbish as i had write in one of my earlier post Pursuit Of Happiness(July 2008).
Smile, happiness are implicit emotions which you don't need to work upon. it comes out as a consequence of your actions or may feel happy just by memories, or sometimes just by looking at something.
So many bloody logic less surveys are being carried out these days trying to rate and gauge happiness. Sometimes a person in great stress of work or coping with some financial problem; come home play with children and start feeling happy. sometimes we are happy without knowing ourselves just a mere frustration for while and we start thinking that we are not happy and want to change our life.
I think everyone is happy it is just that happiness is always accompanied by pain and suffering.
For every head their is always a tail.

Today, i really don't know what to write...i just can't concentrate on anything else, actually this has become now kind of routine, every evening i kind of start going blank and only thing i can thought of is beer.
Actually, i have something in mind, i was thinking to write something about originality. I think nothing like originality actually exist. I can't understand how could anyone be original.
The way i look at this, we all are different human beings possessing different brains, also the combined pack of raw data processed is different. So, in a sense we are not original since we have learn all this here only. And we can't be like others cause different processor with different data is ought to give us different result.
Whole above paragraph actually sound stupid to me also, but so what. I mean that is the real power of personal blog. I can write any shit. Cool na. So what if i sound idiot.

Blink..blind date..snap
This book BLINK has shattered and contradicted one of my firm belief.
I always used to think that you should always take a second, to pause and think before making any decision or saying something. I always believed that thinking can improve you prediction and chances of taking right decision.
i thought live-in relationships are best way to understand someone and find your compatibility level.
However, according to this book 'BLINK', you your snap decisions or first impression could me mostly correct. These decisions are based on your unconscious or sub-conscious mind. so, i suggests guys, buckle up, and get going with as many girls you can cause you don't need much time to figure out which one is for you.
P.S : I am still reading this book so i don't know what author will conclude.

Modesty vs confidence
I am really skeptical , will i will be able to articulate correctly what i tend to say. Actually, i don't know that i am using word 'Modest', here correctly or not. But still i want to try this.
Modesty and confidence are two virtues, both of which should exist in parallel, both are highly complementary to each other. but, both actually can easily recede in influence of other.
So, maintaining a balance of both is quiet an art in itself.
Modesty, is essential in learning process. You should always be able to say, that i don't know anything. it's like an old adage in which it is said to always look for half-filled glass. But it easily lead to over-confidence and complacency. So, you should see the half-empty glass, it will always push you to strive more for success.
Confidence, what to say about this, everyone know confidence and belief in your abilities is first most necessity for success in any sphere of life. Confidence is good, confidence in your abilities, confidence of performing something cause you have done it before, or you have practiced for it, or you think you can do it after giving a deep thought to it.
But feeling confident just cause you mother tell you how special you are, or cause you think others can do so can you. Can easily fool you. This the cusp where over-confidence starts taking over you, actually i think it will better calling it unreasonable or fictitious confidence which we develop, cause we want success and we know how important it is to be confident for success.
I don't know what i have written...what i am feeling is like a great philosopher, i feel like i am so great...i feel like an intellectual whenever i write something. Am i bragging about myself or just writing my feelings. it definitely does not sound like modesty nor it is like confidence. So, What is it... is it something else.

About me...i will not say, i haven't think about this..but now may be this question is gaining more importance,now it's kind of ensnaring my mind, now it seems like everybody is asking this..every interview starts with this only, Tell me something about yourself. I think first time i recall thinking , no not thinking but actually being confronting this question, was when i sign up for orkut.
Still i am not able to decide what i think about myself my opinion changes everyday, sometimes within few hours.
So, i can only write what i think about myself preciously this moment only.
I think, i am not happy never was, never satisfied. No matter where ever i am, what i am doing.... i always wanted to be some place other, always wanted to be someone else. When i am alone i fell like what use of life like this, i long for others...when with friends, they sometimes kind of make me sick and i just want to be alone doing my deeds, good or bad, creative, destructive whatever it is..
Someone, tell me the stupidest people are those who can't differentiate between right and wrong, or who can't decide which side to take' who can't decide what to do.
Someone also told me that you can argue for anything, you can support or condemn any argument based on logical reasoning. So, basically, there is no such thing like right or wrong. These are just different perceptions.
I don't know what to believe in.
For success goal is must.
But what if you just can't decide on your goal. I don't want to spend 5-10 years of my life achieving a goal, which later you may realized wasn't your goal.

Reservations
After a while i have finally got something to write.
Reservations, the word, is now days mainly used for reservations in education only cause it has been in news lately. It is such a trite topic for GD's and editorials that i don't know if i will be able to take any side on this one.
But let me just put my point. I think reservations are necessary. For a simple fact that i believe in equality, i think every human being should have equal access to all resources.
But then saying this it's hard, in fact impossible to imagine such a life. I mean what a life it will be without its uncertainties and great falls.
Reservation are itself against the very core argument or need of it. Reservation itself develops what it is designed to eliminate. Reservation are meant to create and balance an uniformity among all human beings irrespective of their caste, creed, gender etc.( inherited, uncontrolled characteristics glued to person's identity), instead what they do is, that they give advantage to some solely decided by their birth.
What about the person who work hard then others? Don't he deserved more luxuries then others? I think yes, he do.
The point is when i say equality and uniformity of resources i mean, resources at the time of development child but once he had grown up and had enough education no more advantage should be bestowed on him.
Did our education system is not strong enough to provide jobs for graduates. I can't find any point and logic in reserving seats in higher education. In higher education when you specialized in some field maintaining quality should be our priority.
I don't think providing reservations in higher education is justified when you can't provide basic amenities to children born. If everybody will be provided good, strong basic education( combined with other basic necessity ) i don't think anyone would require to take the support of reservation to get admission in higher education.
I think what government is trying to do is to take a chunk from below and putting them at par with others at top. I think it will be a better idea if government will try to take all from lowest level and put them somewhere at middle at least above poverty line.
How the aim of reservations will be full filled when some under privileged are getting higher education while others don't even know how to read and write.
What is an explanation to feeling of that so called upper caste child, who sees other so called under privileged , whose family is more financially strong, getting a chance he might have deserved. Who is the under privileged.

Thought control...
I read so many articles about controlling your senses and thought for higher attainment of peace and spirituality .
But don't you think controlling your thoughts is like killing yourself. If you really believe in god how can you kill his any creation. Don't you think control prevent natural ability which god has gifted you with.

Free will is the biggest virtue GOD has given us. At some point god also can't change free will of a person.
Still we all don't want it, we keep on consulting astrology to know our future. No one knows our future cause we haven't painted it, it's our free will to decide our action, it's our biggest asset but still we don't understand it's power and always are tempted by fortune predictors.

it's not about movie."Life,Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness " is one of the most famous phrases in the United States Declaration of Independence. These three aspects are listed among the "inalienable rights" of man.
i, however, am never able to understand it. why should strive for happiness, should it not come to you naturally. why you should make a attempt to enjoy something. Learning is a spontaneous process
It may sound strange after all we all strive for learning our whole life. You may feel cheated when you learn whole hard work you have put to learn wasn't necessary, wisdom is bound to come to you.
You must have listened that 'Life itself is a great teacher' than why we spend a large part of our life in school and college learning. Society has become so complicated which requires you 20 or more years of learning just to survive in it. After that you start your actually life but in reality you pass your rest of life in just abiding by rules of society taught over a period.
Still we go to school cause we wish to learn what we want to know. Not random lessons which life teach us though these random lessons make us what we are. Without knowledge of history it's hard to move further so now we have to spend 30- 40% of our life just learning.
We struggle our whole life for fame, money and secure future. Actually, we used to have this all. In some of villages people still enjoy these. Imagine a small community - you have fame since all people know each other. Future is more or less secure since you always have your father profession to fall back on.
Globalization has just made our path longer; may be it's true that real joy lies in journey not destination. Thats why Globalization has flourished according to nature's law survival of fittest

3 words...
No these 3 words are not what you may think, I love you, no what i am talking are more stronger, realistic words.
'I don't know' , these are the words i am talking about.
You can only see what your mind paints to you not your eyes. Perception is your only window of receiving any information from outside world. Or should i say you receive data from your senses and than you perceive with you mind to process data in information which you may understand.Therefore, in reality you don't know anything you only know what your mind cooks for you.
The problem starts when we become over confident and start acting as we know all and are in full control of situation. But from uncertainty principle(by Heisenberg), the truth is that we can't have full knowledge so we can't predict or have full control of situation.
I am not saying to underestimate your self what i am suggesting is just not to dispel any idea, never think someone dumb it is just that he has a different perception than you.
Always remember, When you think someone is dumb, you are sharing similar thoughts with him.
No one is fool, no one is dumb.

You can only see what your mind paints to you not your eyes. Perception is your only window of receiving any information from outside world. Or should i say you receive data from your senses and than you perceive with you mind to process data in information which you may understand.Therefore, in reality you don't know anything you only know what your mind cooks for you.
The problem starts when we become over confident and start acting as we know all and are in full control of situation. But from uncertainty principle(by Heisenberg), the truth is that we can't have full knowledge so we can't predict or have full control of situation.
I am not saying to underestimate your self what i am suggesting is just not to dispel any idea, never think someone dumb it is just that he has a different perception than you.
Always remember, When you think someone is dumb, you are sharing similar thoughts with him.
No one is fool, no one is dumb.

LOVE IS EVIL
I am not against it. You may think that i am a heartsick, heartburn person who is just getting his frustration out by blaming all on it.
But it is not that. Let me ask you a Question. Did you ever favored you loved one's? Did you ever favored you loved one's at expense of others? Now you may say, yes, cause i love him. But see here lies the real problem love forced us to be unfair, unethical sometimes, to others, to see our loved ones happy.
Love, deviate us from treating with equality and uniformity all human beings. It is like relativity whenever you love someone you are at same time in hate with someone. You love someone more then other, in turn you may become unfair to latter.
Why can't we love all? I mean it would be really nice to walk on streets knowing that any human being i see is not going to hurt me, in fact i think most people like to help others. It is just that sometimes we don't ask for help.
May be we have been too cynical. A common misconception is that we may think that only some of our friends loved us and we are obliged to them only but may be we haven't given others a chance. All we have to believe that all human beings are good at heart and should start seeing them with equal love, respect and admiration.
The only solution or way i can think, though it may sound boring or hypothetical, but at least we can apply this to every new person we meet, that we should give every person some time before forming an opinion about him.
Actually, i am now confused myself this is not what i intended to write when i started this post. so i am just signing off for now.

The Catcher in the Rye..
I can't understand why the book was titled this but it is always difficult to understand most of titles. Reading a book is totally different from understanding the author's say. Especially in this book a really don't like it much though it was alright. Actually i see this book in list of all time top 100 Bestsellers. So i am not sure whether it was a crap.
Actually, what i wanna write is about this author, J.D Salinger, I mean he seems so confused that i feel myself in his shoes. This is a story about a 16 year old boy, how he is axed from school and he just run away from there trying to figure what to do. Whole story makes you feel how he had to live in this all evil and selfish world and he wasn't ready to do that.
Language and expression used are in close consensus with a teenager thinking. All in all, it is a very well told story. It's just that it just goes on and in the end you may feel like cheated cause no mystery, no twist, no turns, it just ends gracefully.
Truth is i really liked book when i was reading it's just that it finishes so smoothly that i felt like left in between. what is shown in whole book is a most common fact which many of us may not understand-
We love and hate same person, what matters is what we see most.
We love our children but how we feel like killing them when they throw a tantrum.
We may hate are roommates but we miss them afterwards.
We hate our parents not allowing us for late night outs, and when miles away from them we wish to be at home.

Bluffed
"Trust is like virginity someone fuck you and you lose it for ever."
i really like this one the moment i read it, maybe because i have had experienced it. I have being fucked couple of times. you may think how dumb i am to get fooled again but actually it is the risk i willingly take out of my curiosity or may be desperation.
What happened actually that both the time my day just started on a wrong note and i was bluffed quite early in day, sometime by the noon. After that whole day i was too cynical and skeptical about every thing, i wasn't able to believe any thing it seems like everyone is trying to fool me, everything seemed fake. It looks like anything is possible and i started thinking worst possibility in every thing.
But time is the most effective pain killer i have experienced. Loss of memory also has it's benefits actually you can't forget anything but it's just that such experiences becomes mere bad memories(also a learning experience which may safeguard you in future) and these memories don't affect your life any more. So ultimately you keep going on and enjoying and bad luck if you keep on learning.
Also these things may make you laugh after sometime. And "Never forget something which bring smile to you even for a second."

Sometimes though such lyrics are really confidence busters and mood changer.
believe me yelling out is quiet refreshing.
