Delay in marriage - Indian scenario

In India, some saints or seers says that if lord Shani has dristi ( sight) on your 7th house the marriage will be delayed.

The current aspirational India is seeing people devoting their 24-25 years of life to education and then another 3-5 years in finding job and achieving financial independence. This is one of the cause of rise in average marriage age in India.

I am of opinion that after this settling down financially also, people are taking much time to find the partner. The reason being that divorce is still seen as something taboo or socially awkward. The marriage is still seen as one time activity in Indian youth which is creating tremendous pressure to make a right decision. 

Many a times people are faltering after years of relationship before marriage on grounds that we are great together but our families are different, it is not practical and others.

As a society we take pride in our long lasting marriages and tightly knitted families, but somewhere it is stopping or slowing down our choices. A safety net which is acting as cage many a times.

Mono eating is next best thing to fasting and doing one thing at a time is next best thing to mediation.

Multi tasking or eating lot of things or flavors together gives a feeling of getting full, satisfied, accomplished, but.
When you eat a lot of different kind of food together your stomach has to work harder, and when you multi-task your brain has to put in more effort.

Though all this gives you more output and it seems like a formulae for being successful but this is like driving your car at high speed though you cover more distance the efficiency is low.

It is a short term measure which is less efficient.

How HR can inculcate passion in employees?

Motivation is considered one of the pillars of HR functions. The passionate employees are self motivated and makes the managers work easy.

The passion is like blinders, it makes you focus and concentrate your energy on one task. This concentrated energy seldom fails and give great results. 
For an analogy, you can think of childhood experiment where school children are given magnifying glass to concentrate the sunlight at a point in paper and get astonished watching it burn.

How HR can achieve this? So key it to focus energy. The job profiling or work allocation has to be simple, try giving higher goal which can be defined in a line rather than giving long list of responsibilities and tasks. As soon as employee reads a long list his energy dissipation starts, and passion becomes just to wait for day or task to end.

Krishna Consciousness - Hanuman bhakti - Team work

The Gita Chapter 2 verse 39, talks about buddhi-yoga, or karma-yoga, or in other words, the practice of devotional service only for the sense gratification of the Lord.

The lord Hanuman, great Ram bhakt, in hanuman chalisa is mentioned as - राम काज करिबे को आतुर (he is eager to complete Lord Ram works).

In present day, in all management lessons the importance of team work in paramount.

In a nut shell, it prevents you from failure and success of your work. You do not burden yourself with result and focus on your work. This increases your productivity and results.

Multitasking leads to multi-emotion

 

The kind for pace we all are living, multitasking has become essential and necessary. We all are moving with our eyes or fingers on mobile screen, taking calls, listening to music on the go is new normal.

However, our mind is becoming used to this pace even when we are more in emotional zone and experiencing emotions. Which is actually leading to multiple emotions at the same time and instead of taking decision and sticking to any one, mind is able to keep all emotions fluctuating at the same time.

This culture or habit of multi- tasking or multi-emotion is actually the biggest stress causer and decision hampering factor.
