bits

·         Rhythm is happiness

Dance is rhythm. Seamless movement of mind from one thought to other is rhythm.
Jerk in movement breaks our rhythm. When we stop at any thought to judge it, categorize it; we break our rhythm.

·         To confront to harmony

Why we confront? When we take stand, we confront. Confrontation leads to tension.
Is confrontation, lack of harmony? If confrontation becomes static, if it does not expand our thinking, if it stops our interaction with our subject, then it is confrontation.
Otherwise, it is a block in process of maintaining harmony. Harmony needs to be maintained.

So, keep taking stand, keep working on confrontations, keep working on issues, keep moving towards harmony.

कुछ छोटे गुब्बारे

1.
Rama hare hare lehriya,
Mundiya te na jana jogiya,
Mera dil mere pass he reh gaya,
Tum aaye aur hans ke chal diye,
Mera dil behka behka reh gaya.

2.
To see that face, i've move left, right and center;
To see that face, i've slept open eyes;
To see that face, i've thought of every place;
To see that face, i've move day, night and noon.

3.
teri juftzu main tere kafile main...
mil jau aise jaise sagar main paani...
teri har khusi gam main ...
teri saaso main mujhe ko panah de aise ki main tere he sang hu...

Majority-Minority

I got a call. One of my senior asked me something’s about my colleague. She was inquiring about prospective groom for her niece. She had some feedback that my friend is not social enough. I was kind of stuck, I never thought like that about my friend. It is true my friend does not go out to people and make friends easily. But he has few friends, few good friends. The question my mind framed is that is it necessary to have some minimum number of friends to be ‘normal social’ being. Does it affect your groom tag or domestic bliss?
I think marriages, arrange marriages, are social event. Now, how society judges you? Society is made up of us. For say, if you interact with some 10 peoples regularly or significantly. These 10 peoples make your society. Now if majority out of 10 likes you, you are liked by society.
Part II. How these 10 people like you? Human beings judge others on their subjective discretion. If you good to me, spend time with me, appreciate me; probability of me liking you is high. So, acceptance by society is summation of subjective assessment.
This is leading to me other question. Is there anything good or bad? Or it depends only on whether you are in majority and minority? Just because you get along with 3 people out of 10, your circle becomes small, so I become bad. Why? You are labeled as negative just because you are in minority.
So right and wrong depends, on who is the judge or jury. My though process is going to Einstein, Theory of Relativity. If it is a judge, it depends on his experience and philosophy. If it is a jury, it becomes majority- minority equation.
Majority-minority will always exist. I think what is required is to accommodate minority; to accommodate things, ideas which does not exist in your philosophy. To expand is to harmonize.

1.
Aisle to window
I'm sitting on aisle seat
& looking at window.
A gal, we call chinki with love,
is looking down window.
Sun rays are shining on her golden hairs
& melting my heart.
I like the view from aisle
much better than window.

2.
Pain has bereft of energy to be angry;
lifelessness manifests as relaxed smile.

Creative Expression

This post is written with the aim of glorifying the word, ‘Backchodi’.

People usually use this word to disregard an opinion or a conversation. ‘Backchodi’ is an unrecognized art form. We would try to understand how ‘Buckchodi’ is an art form based on two characteristics: Creativeness; self-expression.

It is highly creative for simple reason that it defies logic or reason. It creates logic; it creates connection where none exist or none is generally perceived. It has qualities of both prose and poem. It drives its imagination; it drives its canvas, its play field from poem. In this canvas, this play field it expresses itself as prose.

It is highly cathartic as a mode of self-expression. When others take it as ‘Buckchodi’, one can easily get away without hurting others.
When thoughts with your own unique tint are expressed, one feels lighten and when one connects to outer world as his base identity rather than expected identity; it is elevating. Living in a world preserving your base identity gives you more to explore in yourself, though it doesn’t guarantees any acceptance. ‘Backchodi’ gives you full freedom to present as you perceive. Even if your perception is outright cynical: the creativity to create it and freedom to express it; is at par with any other art form.

‘Bagchodi’ is finding acceptance and popularity nowadays, by way of many television shows and stand-up comedian acts. Soon, we hope bakarchodi will get its due respect in our daily life also.
